IMPRINT

Stratus Network / Web3

Web3 wallets without the visual baggage.

A consumer wallet that reads like a financial product — cobalt, restrained, and deliberately unremarkable to anyone expecting crypto-coded visuals.

01Scope

Stratus wanted to break out of the Web3 visual ghetto — gradient orbs, neon grids, cartoonish 3D — without losing credibility with on-chain natives.

The engagement covered identity, marketing site, a 3D hero moment that carried the signature without leaning on cliché, and the core of the wallet UI.

02Approach

We pushed the brand toward financial-instrument seriousness. Mono metadata, plain type, a single cobalt accent. The 3D moment on the home page is a slow rotation of a physical object — a device-shell shape that hints at the wallet without depicting a coin or a chain.

The marketing site and the wallet UI share components via a single design-tokens package, so a change to the accent color or the radius scale rolls through both surfaces at once. Transactions surface themselves with editorial typography rather than dashboard-style telemetry.

We did the first round of security-review coordination ourselves — not auditing code, but making sure the copy, affordances, and confirmation flows held up against phishing-adjacent flows. That shaped half the microcopy on the production screens.

03Outcome

A successful Series A at four million dollars closed two months after launch, coverage in tier-one crypto press focused on the brand rather than the tech, and an internal team that now ships product screens at the same level we handed them.
